Community Foundation for Ireland Made �1.7 Million in 2011
The Community Foundation for Ireland made �1.7 million grants last year down from �2.2 million in 2010, partly due to a drop in private donations received.
The Foundation's grants came from donor advised funds from major companies and families based in Ireland including: The Farrelly Fund which made grants of �183,000; Ebay Foundation contributed �39,000; SAP Fund made grants of �75,000 and LFG Fund provided grants of �144,000.
